Documents we handle

Florida apostille services by document type

The document must be issued, certified or notarized in the correct form. Send us a clear image first and tell us the country where it will be used.

Birth, marriage and death certificates

Eligible certified Florida vital records signed by the State Registrar, including birth, marriage and death certificates.

Diplomas and school transcripts

Florida public and private school, college and university records prepared with the required certification, signature and notarization.

Powers of attorney and affidavits

Privately signed documents properly notarized by a commissioned Florida notary with a complete English notarial certificate.

Business certificates of status

Original Florida certificates of status and certified corporate records issued by the Florida Division of Corporations.

Court and divorce documents

Eligible certified court records, divorce certificates and clerk-issued documents bearing the required official certification.

Additional Florida records

Florida vehicle titles, FDLE or local criminal background checks, agency documents and other qualifying public records.

Before you send the original

The correct version matters

  • Vital records: use an eligible certified copy—not a hospital souvenir certificate or ordinary photocopy.
  • School records: the registrar or appropriate custodian may need to sign and have the record properly notarized.
  • Notarized documents: the notarial certificate must be complete, in English, and carry the original Florida notary signature and seal.
  • Business records: a certificate of status or certified copy must be issued by the Florida Division of Corporations.
  • Court records: request the certified record required for international use from the appropriate clerk or issuing office.
Avoid preventable rejections. Birth, marriage and death certificates, court filings and many other government records require the correct certified version. Send PRONTO a clear image before mailing the original so our team can identify potential problems and explain the service needed.

How the service works

Miami drop-off or nationwide mail-in

You do not have to live in Florida. The issuing state determines the apostille authority—not your current address.

Send a photo first

Send a clear image through WhatsApp and identify the destination country and deadline.

Receive requirements

We confirm whether your version appears eligible and explain what original or certified record is needed.

Drop off or mail

Bring the document to our Miami office or ship it with tracking after we provide instructions.

Receive tracked return

After processing, PRONTO returns the completed document to the confirmed domestic or international address.

The destination country controls the route

Apostille or authentication?

A Florida document intended for a country participating in the Hague Apostille Convention generally receives a Florida apostille. A document for a non-Hague destination may need a Florida authentication certificate followed by additional embassy or consular processing.

Tell us the destination country before the order begins. We will explain the route that applies to your document instead of treating every international request the same.

Florida documents stay on the state route. A Florida birth certificate, diploma or notarized power of attorney is not sent to the U.S. Department of State for a federal apostille. Federal documents—such as FBI reports—follow a different process.

Price and timing

Confirmed after document review

Timing and total price depend on the document, its current format, the number of documents, the destination country and return shipping. PRONTO reviews these details first and confirms the service before processing.

Document eligibility

We identify missing certifications or notarization problems before the original is submitted whenever possible.

Current processing estimate

You receive the current estimated turnaround based on the service route—not an outdated blanket promise.

Return delivery

Choose pickup from our Miami office or tracked domestic or international return shipping.

Frequently asked questions

Florida apostille questions

Which Florida documents can receive an apostille?

Eligible records include Florida birth, marriage and death certificates, court records, school transcripts, diplomas, vehicle titles, Florida-notarized documents, Florida criminal background checks, certified corporate copies and certificates of status. The precise document format and signature must qualify.

Can PRONTO apostille my Florida birth or marriage certificate?

Yes, if it is an eligible certified copy with the required issuing official’s signature. Send a clear image first so we can review what you have.

Can a Florida diploma or transcript be apostilled?

Yes, but school documents must be prepared correctly. Public-school transcripts generally require the registrar or issuing official’s signature and a complete notarization. Private-school records and diplomas may follow a different preparation method.

Can a Florida power of attorney be apostilled?

A power of attorney signed and properly notarized in Florida may qualify. The document must contain a complete English notarial certificate and the original Florida notary signature and seal.

Can you apostille a Florida business certificate of status?

Yes. The apostille requires the original certificate of status or certified corporate record issued by the Florida Division of Corporations, not an ordinary printout or photocopy.

Do I have to visit the Miami office?

No. You may visit our Miami office or mail the qualifying original or certified document after review. We can return completed documents with tracking.

How long does it take and how much does it cost?

The total depends on the document, current preparation, number of documents, destination country and return shipping. Contact us for the current estimate and complete price.
