An FBI Identity History Summary is a federal document. When it will be used in a Hague Apostille Convention country, the apostille is processed through the U.S. Department of State Office of Authentications—not through a state Secretary of State.
If the destination country is not covered by the Apostille Convention, it may require federal authentication and additional embassy or consular steps. Tell PRONTO the destination country before processing so our team can confirm the appropriate service.
