Regular certified translation
Often prepared for U.S. institutions such as USCIS. It does not become a Spanish sworn translation merely because it includes a translator certification.
Traducción jurada oficial · English and Spanish
PRONTO coordinates English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English sworn translations completed by translators officially appointed and authorized by Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (MAEC).

Not every certified translation is the same
A standard certified translation commonly used for USCIS or another U.S. procedure is not automatically an official sworn translation for Spain.
A Spanish sworn translation is prepared by a translator holding the official title issued by MAEC. The translator certifies that the translation is faithful and accurate using the required certification, signature and seal—or an authorized electronic signature when appropriate.

PRONTO delivers the completed sworn translation electronically and/or physically as confirmed for the order.
Apostille and translation together
When a U.S. document requires an apostille for use in Spain, the receiving authority may also require the apostille itself to be translated. Send PRONTO every page so we can determine the translation scope before quoting.
If your document still needs an apostille, PRONTO can coordinate the apostille and Spain sworn-translation services instead of leaving you to manage separate providers.
Digital and printed delivery
Spain regulates electronic certification of sworn translations, and an authorized electronic signature can certify the complete translation package. Traditional printed translations with handwritten signature and physical seal also remain available.
Acceptance practices can vary by authority and procedure. Tell PRONTO where the translation will be submitted so we can confirm whether the order should be prepared digitally, in print or both.
Price and turnaround
Sworn-translation pricing and timing depend on the language direction, page count, word count, legibility, formatting, certification, urgency and delivery format.
Send every page so the quote includes the source document, stamps, apostilles and required certification.
PRONTO confirms the available completion estimate after reviewing the files and your deadline.
Digital delivery, printed originals and tracked shipping are confirmed according to the receiving procedure.
