ATA certification belongs to the individual translator and a specific language pair and direction. PRONTO confirms the credential applicable to your order; association membership alone is not the same credential. Send the source and target languages and the institution’s exact wording. Service is subject to availability for our offered English–Spanish and English–Italian directions; we confirm the exact direction before payment.

Languages and scope. Spanish, Italian and Portuguese into English for USCIS. English into Spanish for U.S. documents used abroad. MAEC: English into Spanish. For ATA services, the language direction and credential are confirmed before payment.

Is a certified translation the same as an ATA-certified translator service?
A certified translation includes a signed accuracy statement. An ATA-certified translator holds an individual credential in a particular direction. Send PRONTO the recipient’s requirements and we confirm the service needed.
How is the price calculated?
PRONTO reviews pages, words, legibility, formatting, languages and certification. Sharing every page, including reverse-side content, allows us to quote the full scope before payment.
What if I need a change?
Send PRONTO your comments and the relevant page. We review any discrepancy with the source document. Source changes or new requirements may change the scope and are quoted before continuing.
Can you include an apostille?
Yes, we review the document and country to confirm eligible processing. The quote distinguishes the original-document apostille, translation and any additional certification requested.
